Vineyards shape the landscape. But the landscape also shapes the vineyards and influences the vines and the wines themselves because its characteristics will dictate which vines grow where. Steep slopes or lowland plains, in the valley or at high altitude, the soil and the climate. All aspects have a role to play in the story.

Weinberge prägen die Landschaft. Aber die Landschaft prägt ebenso die Weinberge und beeinflusst die Reben und die Weine selbst, denn ihre Eigenschaften bestimmen welche Reben wo wachsen. Steilhang oder Flachland, im Tal oder Höhenlage, der Boden und das Klima. Alle Aspekte haben eine Rolle in der Geschichte zu spielen.
